Yes, You recover for 3 months and then being training which is usually shadow boxing and at most hitting the bag a little

You don't go str8 into sparring

A standard cheap Hopkins trick. Isn't he well known for fakery and crookery??
Maybe if Hopkins didn't climb Dawson's back he wouldn't have gotten slammed?

Old crybaby behind is going to continue to duck Dawson until he is forced into retirement.

Forced into retirement? He'll be 47 next month. He certainly doesn't have to fight Dawson at this point of his career. Who wants to pay for it anyway? Even without the crappy ending only less than 50k people bought the ppv, no one will be demanding this fight.

Wow that's almost as bad as the David Tua-Saul Montana ppv I once bought.

I think that one did like 30k...

Here's the thing...its hard for me to say a guy FAKED an injury...but to make it seem worse that it is, YES, I could see that. Hops is a great fighter, proven legend etc etc I KNOW THIS...but I am going by the laws of the human body...an injury like he says he recieved and he's going to spar in JANUARY? Three months or less after he got it? NO....WAY...NO...FREAKING...WAY...I had a shoulder injury that was bad, got it in a fight, and it wasnt -according to what they are calling his- as bad as his...and I could NO WAY spar three months later...I did the rehab, etc etc...and three months later sparring? NO WAY. I sparred about 5 months later and the first time I did my opponent hit me on the OPPOSITE shoulder and the chain reaction it started caused TREMENDOUS pain...the shoulder is full of very tender soft tissue...the injury he says he got in that fight is NOT going to see him sparring in January. Now if he had a lesser injury that he is trying to make seem worse then sure maybe he coud get in there for easy work...but January is pushing it for the separation he says he got...dont take my word for it, ask a doctor...I did..I called a doctor in Hartford as soon as I read th enews and he told me the same stuff, he broke it down for me medically...but, AGAIN, I suffered a similar injury and I know the pain involved so I have some inside knowledge onthis scenario, YES...

and for what ist worth, against RJ in the rematch he tried a similar type of thing and ref Tony Weeks DIDNT ALLOW HIM TO DO IT...he called him on it and somewhat exposed the fakery on that particular night at that particular moment...

Dumb of Hopkins to look to lean on Dawson, dumb of Dawson to try and get street tough in the ring. Whether Hopkins was really hurt we won't ever know.

I could care less about who else bought the ppv I got robbed and I want my money's worth of seeing Dawson whip that azz. Hopkins need to man up, he claims he a gangster but real G's don't roll around on the mat crying.

Dawson needed this fight, not the other way around; and tackling Hopkins is not going to get it done.

                    You just lost your shot.

Maybe if you actually watched the fight you would notice your girl grandma hopkins hopping on Dawson's back. But it's okay Dawson is young and if Bhop want to run Dawson can go ahead and win a belt elsewhere and fight somebody who ain't a punk. One thing is you won't ever catch me paying for a Hopkins fight again.
