Floyd took 2 good punches from SSM early in the fight and some people think its amazing. Floyd wasnt exhausted so youd expect him to be able to take a couple of punches when hes fresh. Who has SSM ever knocked out in the first round or two? Nobody so why should FLoyd get knocked out?

Look at the quality of punches landed though. Prescott was a tall tree that came straight down full force flush to Khans chin. Where as the smaller lunging Maidan never landed anything with his full weight behind it the whole night. Due to Khan avoiding, boxing, and clinching. It was a great performance by Khan but doesn't prove his chin has improved.

cotto wouldnt take the punches mosley landed on floyd, not at this stage of his career anyways. like i said in my post i dont think pac would either. margarito is the only fighter that i agree with, he would absorb those shots. maybe paul williams back in his WW days too but thats about it.

idk why im even taking you seriously though after the ignorant statement you follow up with. its so ****** its embarassing.

temple shots are just as damaging as punches to the chin, in some cases worse. it depends on the fighter, some fighters take a better punch to the chin then the temple and vice versa. kelly pavlik comes to mind when thinking of a fighter with an iron chin whos hella soft to the temple. every time hes been hurt its been from temple shots while he ate punches to the chin like tic tac's.

tyson once said he fought a guy and hit him with everything he had, hooks, crosses, uppercuts.. EVERTHING and with full force and in combinations. he ripped this guy with the most savage shots in his arsenal and they just bounced of his jaw like nothing. then he touched him on the temple with a punch that wasnt even hard, the guy dropped like a ton of bricks and didnt get up.

again, temple shots can be more devastating than punches to the chin. its different from one fighter to the next but to say a fighter has bad punch resistance bcuz he gets hurt with a temple shot is pure ignorance. you dont know **** about boxing man, you know nothing at all.

          Severely weight drained.

It reduces your punch resistance greatly.

Mayweather has been wobbled by Corley and Mosley but never been legitmately dropped or stopped.

Pacquiao has been dropped a few times and even been knocked out before.
            At what weight?

At WW, both have pretty damn good chins. Floyd's doesn't get hit much but when he did, he recovered very well. Pac seems to have a pretty granite chin these days as proven in the ring.

Pacquiao has the better chin. Some people are really grasping at straws when talking about Pac being stopped by a body shot when he was a kid.

that doesnt count !!!! why because those happened over 10 yrs ago when manny was malnurished and weight drained !!!!!!! lets talk about recent history not anchient history !!!!! recent history mayweather was almost out on his feet aginst mosley , rickey hatton almost dropped him in the first round !!!!!! judah made him touch the canvas !!!!! chop cjop hurt him really really bad !!!!! samba michel punished him !!!!!! while manny ate the hardest punches from the most feared guys in the ww division like tic tacs !!!!!!!

any unbiased fight fan can honestly admit manny has the better chin !!!!!

Maidana is the bigger puncher and he landed the overhand right **** on Khan's chin.

The same punch in the earlier rounds had little effect on Khan because they landed on his temple.
