Watch Khan vs Maidana. Maidana throws the same overhand right all night, but it catches Khan on the cheek and temple, in the 10th the same punch lands on the chin and Khan's legs go.

    Luckily they had been strengthened

You do realize that Khan was staggering around and barely on his feet right. That boy Cortez protected him all night like a Marine on duty. Those were only the lightest of grazing blows and Khan was clutching and on his bike the whole night. Now props to Khan for doing what he had to do but his leg muscles didn't keep him up Cortez and his clinching did. Thebenefits you get from adding on muscle downstairs is not extra punch resistance. You will get better balance from not being as top heavy, better power generated, and greater speed. Punch resistance NO.

Khan ate Maidana punches all night, punches to the temple, the only one that troubled him was the punch that landed on the chin.

          Same punch two different outcomes.

This thread should be in the master thread...Because, it's nothing but a pissing contest...

If you're Floyd, you going to say Floyd...If you're a Pac guy you going to say Pac.

I don't know who has the better chin. But, I know both have a damn good chin. And, it would be very very hard for any WW or below to stop either guy right now.

Yeah but Pac got stretched out on the mat twice. Wobbled vs KTFO you be the judge.

Look at the difference from the Prescott fight, his legs were gone there.

Against Maidana, even though he was buzzed his legs were strong and kept him stable enought to move around.

Well then since you are so annoyed GTFO then.

I think Mayweather has the better chin.

Mayweather has been wobbled by Corley and Mosley but never been legitmately dropped or stopped.

Pacquiao has been dropped a few times and even been knocked out before.

Pacquiao has the better chin. Floyd doesn't let his chin get tested much.
