I'm not gonna lie, I like Canelo. I think he's a young beast. He hasn't got the chance to proove it to us but I think he we will rise to the occassion the day he gets in there with someone good. I think he would beat Angulo. I never thought **** about Perro to be honest. Kirkland vs Canelo is something I would love to see. It would be a war and a great test for the Ginger boy. Idk if he wins but I bet he does better then Perro. Outside of that 1 right hand in the 1st RD, Angulo did nothing vs Kirkland but get trashed.

I like Canelo too. the problem is I knew this was going to happen. I knew when they gave him that bogus vacant belt for fighting Matthew Hatton, he still wasn't ready for elite fighters yet so there would be a lot of backlash against him and sure enough there is. That's why I wished he would have just turned down the belt or whatever. If you're not ready to fight the top dogs you shouldn't be considered champion.

Of course, none of this is Canelo's fault. He's a young kid who seems to be improving like he should and he's just doing what his promoters tell him to do. But it's shameful how the WBC can get away with a lot of the stuff they do, same exact story for Chavez jr.
