John Ruiz catches punches with his nose....That may be the case but that strategy has been successful for Ruiz. Nobody apart from David Tua in 1996 has given Ruiz treatment like Haye did.

Vitali want to fight a tall opponent, and Dimitrenko can earn the payday of his life ; it's now or never. Then, if he can after the hospital, he'll go back to the EBU title, wich is his real level of competition. Dimitrenko is far away from the world level. But currently there's almost no boxer "motivated" to fight.
