People really dont beleive cotto is back do you guys?? yall are just saying that to piss people off?? Anyone who thinks cotto beats jr really doesnt even know what theyre talking about.yes jr is a blevel fighter, but there no way in hell anybody can be impressed with cotto at this point. I refuse to believe people are actually impressed with cotto. It must be a nationolistic thing because thats a fight to just continue Jrs record padding.cotto is sooo sloowww easy to hit he gasses he is sooo washed up its not funny,he cant take any form of sustained punishment his face blows up, no no,no,this fight does nothing for jr except pad his resume with a "name" the fans and cotto cant be that ****** to think thats a good figght for either guy.Jr beats another no hoper and cotto gets stopped or brutally beaten.

The money for this fight would be HUGE and there are MANY possibilities as far as location(Mexico, Yankees Stadium, MSG, MGM, Staples Center, Cowboys Stadium)

Cotto's walking into a trap but this is how boxing has been. Up and comer beating up on a shopworn, usually smaller, big name to get a rep.

seriously, all the talk about how top rank is bad for cotto and all that, the truth is TR has done a tremendous job with cotto's career. I think that's the textbook example of how to promote someone (besides a few minor hickups).

And if the money is right, cotto has a chance to win a title in his fourth weight class. You don't get that kind of oppurtinity too often.
haha exactly. the only advantages chavez will have is size and reach. if cotto beats chavez jr then he collects a 4th belt in a 4th weight division. so i can see why the fight might seem attractive to the cotto camp.
