Cotto has my respect .. NO DOUBT! The kid doesn't duck anyone, he is a warrior, but no way he beats Pacroid, people don't understand, PAC likes the contact he likes the back and forth slug fest, he just can't handle a fighter like JMM or the best counterpuncher ever in FMJ who will tag him at will, just by timing alone, FMJ will use Pacroid up like a condom...All night long..! Manny plain and simple got exposed and everyone came to reality from the Boxing experts, to HOFers, to current boxers of who the P4P king is.. POINT BLANK.. To mention Cotto and FMJ in the same ring is an insult... No match at all...

Yes, I'm sure he's capable of doing it. The question is: Will it affect him? I think it will. Look at how much more muscular Sergio looks ever since his second fight against Williams. He looks like a tank at 160 compared to his last fights at 154 where he looked slimmer fighting guys like Bunema and Cintrón.

Not saying he would get the W now but id bet anything that his time around it will be alot closer and whoever wins it will be entertaining.
Slow your roll man he did a beautiful job against margarito tying margarito up when he was trying to slug but nobody else at 154?? Obviously you forgot about kirkland or angulo for that matter the super welter's have whole lot of talent he better try to clean out that division first before he starts talkin about a rematch wit pac.

i like cotto, but he's still shot to death....

he beat a totally shot margarito.... what's so impressive about that?

miguel cotto should never be losing against someone like margarito.....

but all this talk about a pacquiao rematch is absurd.....

cotto was destroyed in their first fight... it wasn't even close... the fight should have been stopped in the 9th round.....

there's less of miguel cotto left now, then there was back then.... so why have his chances improved?

in saying all of that... i think sergio martinez is heavily overrated.... and if he wants to drop to a catchweight of 150.... i'm sure cotto beats him....

but the likes of mayweather, pacquiao.... cotto needs to stay well away from.... even if the payday's may excite him....

i mean look at cotto's face.... it's still swollen and scarred a week later, in a fight he barely took a punch.... the damage done by margarito in their first fight and then against pacquiao means cotto's face marks up very easily.... and is basically the reason he needs to stay away from quicker and more skilled fighters than himself....

but line up the likes of kirkland, canelo, martinez... cos cotto's still their daddies.

Lol. People are crazy thinking Cotto is back from beating a Stevie Wonder version of Margarito.
