      I dunno about that.

The "coming out" party he had in 2007 is a bit hard to top.

Forget about the first title defense against Urkal, but Judah's 11th round destruction and outboxing Mosley was pretty much the peak.

If he wanted to top that, he'd have to beat one of the big fighters at 154 and beat Pacquiao.

      Canelo/Pacquiao, Kirkland/Pacquiao, etc.

I don't see how Martínez or JCC, Jr. fight him. They're 160 fighters and I seriously doubt they can move back down. JCC has always been huge and Martínez MIGHT be able to do it, but after TWO years at 160, going back down has GOT to take its toll on you.

It would be the equivalent of Cotto moving TODAY back down to 147. That's just not happening.

Cotto is done at welterweight. He can probably make it to 150 or 149 at best but I seriously doubt he can get down there to 147 anymore.

Cotto fought good last saturday and i honestly dont think he's a shot fighter. Canelo and Ortiz are serious candidates for him.

Don't really see how he has improved over the last year or two. Looking good against a paper champ foreman, a shot mayorga And a battered margarito is one thing, but I can't wait to see how he does against an opponent who has a pulse

Cotto should push TR for some good fights, no more bull**** Mayorga fights.

Cott beats Chavez Jr at 160 making history, and if he pulls off a Martinez win(154 if he wants a chance). He will be FOTY no doubt!!!!

Martinez can make 154 for sure

Idont see anyone at 154 other than Alvarez giving Miguel a good fight. I think he has earned the right to go after big pay days like PBF and a rematch with Manny. dont forget the 1st fight with manny he had his good friend in his corner as his head trainer. Not saying he would get the W now but id bet anything that his time around it will be alot closer and whoever wins it will be entertaining.

If Cotto beats Chavez and wins a rematch against Crampiao, after JMM and Mayweather have their way with him
