HatmanTV made an interesting video on fighters avoiding one another.
One particularly good point was that some fans who defend ducking, are acting like a fighter's manager, rather than as a boxing fan.
Let's take Timothy Bradley's duck of Amir Khan as an example. I use this example because its a fight that is universally accepted by boxing fans as a fight that needs to happen. But his defenders were using excuses like it made no financial sense, and/or that he could make just as much money fighting someone much easier.
But ultimately, these fighters make their money from us fans. So they should fight the fights that we want.
As boxing fans, its our job to demand the best fights. We shouldn't lose sight of this.
