Erislandy Lara.
Junior middleweight contender Erislandy Lara (15-1, 10KOs) has been reading the back and forth debate between the promotional teams behind middleweight champions Sergio Martinez and Dmitry Pirog. The Russian boxer's team made an offer of $3 million dollars to entice Martinez to travel across the ocean to Russia for a fight with Pirog. But Martinez and his management have zero interest in facing Pirog in Russia -especially without the involvement of American television.
Junior middleweight contender Erislandy Lara (15-1, 10KOs) has been inactive since losing a controversial twelve round decision to Paul Williams in July 2010. Lara has tried to secure fights with several of the big names at junior middleweight and even middleweight, but none of the top names are willing to fight him. Lara is waiting for his promoter, Golden Boy Promotions, to give him a return date.
Neither of these guys that he verbally abused in those articles, have said a word to defend themselves. They are scared shook. Pirog my ass.Comment

Lol, look at this bullshit of an explanation why they won't fight Lara. Can you say ducking?
After reading several of the pieces involving the verbal battle between Lou DiBella, promoter of top middleweight star Sergio Martinez, and Russia’s Kirill Pchelnikov, the co-promoter and financial supporter of WBO middleweight beltholder Dmitry Pirog (19-0, 15 KOs), BoxingScene.com reached out to another member of Team Pirog to get his opinion on several topics.Comment
