ahh Cotto is my favorite fighter but we all know he does not have a chance. Don't matter what weight class it is pac is still going to come in at 148 or 150 and be 100% faster than Cotto.

The ******ity being spewd goes to show the ignorance and low IQ of some of these posters. Anyone that has followed boxing knows that Cotto on an even playing field has a good chance to beat Pac. Sure Pac beat him the first time around, so did Margarito. Cotto did not reinvent himself to beat Margo, he just resharpened the tool set he already has and corrected some flaws, leaving the plaster incident aside.

Yes, Cotto can counter and do so well, and he doesn't need all this speed to beat Manny, he just needs to use his timing, something that he didn't do in the first Pac fight. He fell in the same trap everyone else did and thought he can overpower manny and failed miserably. Timing and circling will keep Manny from shooting off from those funky angles.

BEST POST ALL DAY! I totally agree with you and have been saying this for a while now about Cotto. He has always been a good fighter BUT he use to be his own boss and display over-confidence in the past. He is now a very mature fighter and is serious about making history. Manny tightened up his defence and now he is finally ready to shut up some mouths. I would like him to fight Manny next but if Floyd grows some balls, I'll welcome that fight as well. The only reason why Floyd now wants to fight Manny is because he thinks he's slowing down. Same thing with Cotto. He'll fight Cotto only because he thinks he's finished. All of Cotto's strengths are Floyd's weaknesses! Cotto is a very heavy handed puncher who has a killer body attack and he has a great jab. Floyd gets hit with a good jab and he gives you his body. That means it will be a great fight!!! As far as Manny goes, the weight had everything to do with that fight. Cotto's body never been that cut and his stamina, chin, and lack of power, means he was affected by the weight. Hopefully those fights happen in 2012. He doesn't need to fight Jr though. He would lose that fight without question. He would get stopped. He needs to realize that he is not a Super Welter Weight! He is a welterweight. He can fight up to about 147-153. What you think? Anything above that is dangerous for him.

Cotto has the most dominant jab since Oscar in those lower weight classes. Not to mention that his chin is better also. His legs are better. His power is greater. So let's be careful here. Marquez just came off a very good performance against a great fighter but that's all it was, a great performance. If he would stop getting knocked down and learned how to turn it up in a close fight, he would have @ least one win against Manny. He has noone to blame but himself. But if he had tried to open up in the 12th, he may have gotten knocked down again. Mabe that's why he didn't.

Even if Pac comes in at the official weigh in at 145 and Cotto at 54, Pac beats Miguel.

Cotto won by by using movements which he didn't do in during the 1st fight and he has a target in the form of Margarito's right eye. Even though Marg didn't land that much, Cotto's face was showing bruises.

Pac on the other hand has speed, power, and foot speed. Even against JMM, Pac was still landing punches when Juan was backing up. If there is a rematch, the first half goes back and forth then Pac just takes over.

OK. I agree to disagree on that one. I just hope Cotto doesn't stay with Arum and doesn't do anymore in-house fights unless it's Manny. He needs to go to Golden Boy like he was a few years ago before he got the first Manny fight. Him and Oscar like each other and that would be the best move for his career. What do you think? And what do you think about Khan, Bradley, Ward, and Dawson?
