So Macklin clearly beat Sturm and was robbed, and now he's a cherry pick? My god.

Pirog hasn't fought anyone near teh caliber of Sturm, and Macklin beat Sturm (it wasnt even close). So let's be real here..

Please man....Cotto gets mugged in the ring just as Margs would get destroyed. Martinez is the people's champ, that's the thing and he does deserve the big payday- just as a top p4p fighter should. Martinez would go to PR and arrive at the arena via helicopter and skydive out that b!tch in a flying squirrel suit to land in the center of the ring and have Cotto ****ting himself.

Then Martinez Taxes That Azz for 9 rds until he looks worse than he did against Pac and Margs combined from eating those jabs....Martinez moves to the left too, away from Cottos left hook and jab as well as fighting from a distance- Cotto gets tooled in a bad way and I'm a big Cotto fan but he doesn't win that fight, no way, no how.

I must admit that the theatrics in this post are amusing, however I think Martinez is severely overrated.

I have seen this guy fight long before he was hyped on these boards, and I don't see why people think he blowouts all these top JMW's.

I think he pulls out a close UD against Cotto and wins a clear decision over Chavez Jr., but neither of those fights are the blowout most are making them out to be.

I mean outside of WIlliams II, when has Sergio blew out another opponent?

Macklin won this fight 9-2 maybe 8-3. IT WASNT EVEN CLOSE. It was the worst robbery of the year IMO along with Lara/Williams.

Bunema was his coming out party. That fight wasn't even close. he landed 212 punches, bunema landed 31.. yes.. 212 to 31.

THe cintron fight wasn't close either and he blew out Dizzy.

Man, I'm a big Cotto fan but there ain't any way I can see him winning this.

Cotto is too small and Serge is too good for Cotto to overcome the size disadvantage. Think Sergio might be faster as well.

He did....it shoud be pretty clear at this point that Margs has been cheating a long, long time. He lost like 3 fights in his first 12 or something, then he goes on a winning streak spanning over 20 fights.....almost all KO's.

He lost maybe 2 decisions along the way but every win was by KO until he gets caught trying to cheat. After that, he loses 3 out of 4 fights........2 by KO....you don't think that's odd?

Anyways, Martinez would retire the dude for good.....because he is a man, a great boxer who earned what little fame he has the hard way- he didn't have some television network blowing hot air up the fans arses to build him up. He even got robbed twice and held his head high to prevail..............like a CHAMP does.
