Do you seriously believe these two are even on the same league as cotto? Gimme a break lol. They would be a nice tune up fight while still fighting the top 10 154 ill give you that. Angulo is no more than a margarito clone but without the chin and shorter, and kirkland, his good but with that glass chin and those wide open swings... Both would gwt schooled and demolished.

I can see Cotto possibly beating both but lets give Kirkland some credit for taking Angulo's hardest power shot, get back up and beat Angulo senseless. Cotto's not good under pressure. He adjusted with Margarito but Kirkland may be a handful for Cotto at this stage.

It will probably be Chavez Jr

If Miguel Cotto stays with Top Rank then he is definitely going to be fighting an in house fighter. That is just what Bob Arum does. Cotto is still a huge draw and 20,000+ at MSG just proved it. No way does he allow any other promoter to share in that revenue.

The only way I see Cotto fighting Martinez, is if he leaves Top Rank and becomes a free agent. He could then hire Top Rank to do his promoting for that fight only, as Mayweather has done with Golden Boy.

Added to that the only way I can see Cotto fighting Canelo Alvarez is if he signed a multi-fight deal with Golden Boy. Golden Boy is not going to risk a fight with Canelo if they're not going to get something in return. Having Cotto on a multi fight deal would make the reward worth the risk.

cotto would lose to any of those three no stamina,very little physical or mental fortitude.cotto would get stopped by even jr. cotto isnt back he fights the exact same way ,its arum pitting him with weaker opposition,just like he did with pacman until he faced jmm,come on guys weve already been down this road ,use your eyes,jr and canelo are young inexperienced but theyd surley rout cotto at this point.I agree with roach cotto was a good fighter when he had hair ,now hes just a gimmick.martinez would murder that guy,again cotto has no right hand cotto is a lefthooker that always gasses midpoint then gets beaten down,he been succsessful running and running out the clock,almost every cotto fight looks exactley the same to me,he starts strong gasses midpoint runs his ass off and hopes to run the clock out hes been fortunate to be in against weak opponents,none of what cotto does would work with any of those guys.
