yeah cotto won, not as vengeful as most boxing fans expected though. remember how he lost to marg? a sweet retribution would have been if cotto knocked out marg or made marg quit. just look at the way marg reacted when the fight was stopped. he was still in there pleading to get back into the fight. yeah if you only go by the records, definitely cotto got back at marg. but if youre deep into the history,rivalry,sensationalism and drama of those two, you'd want a brutal stoppage.

nothing can be taken away from cotto with the strategy he executed, simply because he got his goal(s). the same can be said for margarito, contesting to be back in the fight even though the scorecards and his own body is against him. heart of a warrior.
