There was a reason I wasnt excited at all for this fight. I do like Cotto. I knew he had more in the tank left than Marg. Marg has been on a losing streak since the Mosely fight (the Amenaza fight was a joke) and serious inactivity with a ****ed up eye. But lets not pretend like this match was significant to WW or JMW in any sense. This was match was for Cotto's peace of mind and for PR to finally get a win this year. Im glad PR got a win. Its good for competition, but lets not pretend this fight was against two undefeated studs or anything.

TBH, if I was PR, I would be happy with Cotto but would be gloating about Devin. Wolak was here every single day talking **** about everyone and announcing his come out party. Devin was never heard at all, almost didn't even get the rematch. He put an end to the Wolak hype and finished stronger than most thought he would. That is something to celebrate and be proud of. Cotto getting revenge from a 2008 fight off a December 2011 damn near 2012 version of Margarito? Not really a big deal anymore.

Gloating about Delvin? He is dominican. He is a good kid, but you know how nationalistic are people are here.

I don't care how many of these writers try to twist **** it is'nt going to work. Cotto did not deliver a beating to Margarito. Stop telling me I saw something that never happened. Cotto did'nt prove anaything at all. Marg was starting to seriously get to Cotto. The fight was abit different from the first. Margarito is alot more shop worn now than when they fought the first time. Cotto actually fought better than he did the first time. Cotto had time to recuperate from his beatings and Margarito did'nt. If Cotto did'nt have a target in the right eye what would he have done? They stopped it becuase it was starting to get rough for Cotto in there. Cotto's face still looked the same after this fight. I just can't believe how many fanboys that just can't observe a boxing match without being totally biased and falling into the hype. The fight was promoted with the handwraps being the bases of the promotion. All of you fell for the whole good guy bad guy thing and it's just hilarious really. You mainstream idiots please go to a different sport because your propaganda does'nt work with intelligent people.

Most of the time you are on point. But hell no, Margarito was not getting to Cotto. 2008 round 9, Tony 47 punches, 2011 23 and most of them were sloppy arm punches. Cotto push Tony to the ropes, he hit the crisper, cleaner and harder punches. There was a difference and Cotto was on his way to KO Tony.

We have already discussed the cheating issue, your opinion is that there are grades, or degrees, of cheating, mine is that no cheating is acceptable, and I refuse to differentiate between the two just because you insist that I should.

I simply refuse to regard one cheat as being greater or lesser than another cheat..... so lets just leave it there ^^

And I will not discuss the specifics/details any further either, so we will agree to disagree on that one also.

All I will say is, the fact that you would even attempt to argue about such an irrelevant detail, makes me wonder where your head is at dude..... so aside from that rubbish you wrote, what Margarito did was abhorrent, and he is a cheat, and that is why they handed him a 12 month ban.

Now you can call it whatever you like man, you can spin it that Margarito did not actually throw a punch, and you can insist that he didnt know the wraps were loaded, whatever..... but the bottom line is, he is a cheat, plain and simple.
