If Alvarado fights Rios he's now the bigger fighter.

      Who backs up who?

Alvarado has shown he can box a little to get inside.
That's what gets me about Alvardo. He muscled through the prescott bout but pres didn't exactly set much of a pace, and tired. But it's also the only fight I've seen of him, so I have no idea what to expect in a Rios bout or what type of fighters he has on his resume, I haven't even boxrec'd him before. I'll need to hop on youtube and study him, see what differences he brings that Antillon or Murray lacked. He's definitely a big boy, though. Can't help but feel like the move to 140 would do to Rios what 147 did to Ortiz, though. I think we'd see a seriously different fighter there. More active, fresher, probably more powerful.

Prescott is a handful for 5 rounds for anyone because of his power and the leverage he has being so tall for 140 but he puts everything on his shots even his jab and doesn't pace himself so he fades.

Rios is a throwback inside fighter, a rarity these days, and it makes for great fights.

In ''Assault In The Ring'' Resto admits to having his wraps soaked in plaster of paris or some kind of illegal substance.

I don't think Rios uses wraps, he had quite a size advantage, he's heavy handed, murray fought his fight all night and was there too be hit but Collins' face is still clearly more damaged, look at the swelling, it's much worse then Murray's.

he also had something in his water that like opened up his lungs so he wouldn't get tired late in fights

You already know Rios was most probably 20 pounds heavier than Murray and so these injuries should come as no surprise. Rios hardly had a mark on his face after all the shots Murray landed on his face but that is a different matter all together.

Murray was like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered and Warren should be ashamed of himself. After all the years he held back the likes of Hatton and Calzaghe this donkey sends a guy over to America after he had already taken a beating only a few months prior.

I saw a Top Rank version of the fight, did HBO have a tonights weigh in? All i know is that Rios had a limit for the morning, not sure how much he put on after making 146 the next day, or how much murray put on.

Yeah it was some kind of medication for asthma in the form of pills that Panama Lewis crushed in powder and threw into his water bottle. What a cheat.

Scary photo from John Murray, Rios has some devastating power.
