Don't want to see it, but it would be better than Alvarez (who's best win is over a past prime Cintron), Maidana (who hasn't done anything since losing to Khan), etc.

Pacquiao and Martinez are both A options by far.
Khan, without a fight at 147, is a B option, same with Cotto at 154.

Cotto is past his prime, showed he's still good. Since losing to Margarito in 08', Cotto hasn't been prime, but since 2009 against Clottey and Pacquiao, he's about the same guy, just at a higher weight class now. So, while Pac would be more credit for beating him first at 145 in 09', and rightfully so, Floyd would still get some credit for doing it at 154. I'd rate the win about as good as the Mosley win fo rthe Floyd, only Molsey was past his prime coming off wins, while Cotto is past his prime-still good.

But, it wouldn't change the fact that Pac gets bigger credit for beating Cotto first, same way Floyd gets more credit for beating Oscar, Hatton, Mosley, and Marquez at 144 first.

Mayweather-Pacquiao is what EVERYONE wants. Bob Arum, sit down and shut the f**k up, make the fight. All he has to do is sit down with Schaefer, Ellerbe, and Haymon, and make it happen.

Maidana and Cotto are equally easy wins for Floyd, difference is Maidana is prime and will not back down or even think about quitting at any point of the fight.

I just don't want Floyd to do something I criticize Manny for doing. Which is fighting Floyd's leftovers, and fighting guys who are clearly not the same as they once were. "Still having it" just seems like people acknowledged the dude is shot, but still has "something left". If he's been showing he only has something left against fighters like Foreman, Mayorga and that version of Margarito...then fighting elite fighters he'd look like he has nothing left.

yes, cotto's weakness is volume punchers who puts pressure non stop , floyd is far from that. i think it'll be a competitive fight if it happens.
