...You absolutely right and the Rock will make a fine champion. We know he is the kind of guy to "never" put on a fat show and will always come to the ring in great shape and highly motivated. I fully believe that a fighter must win a title fight before being crowned the champion. So the former champion could not fight him (or would not, who knows) that should not mean that he is just handed the belt. This is the kind of stuff that makes boxing look rediculous. Rock should fight the highest ranked opponent below him before being deemed the champion of the world. With all of the political bs in boxing this is the worst thing that could come of all of it. Champions fight for their titles in the ring, not the commisions board room.

Well, he was the interim champion. He fought Barrett cuz Vitali wouldn't fight him...do you understand boxing at all? The point of winning the interim title is that if the champion refuses to fight you, YOU GET THE TITLE. Rahman said he knew Vitali wasn't going to fight him so he took on Barrett in what was essentially the WBC title fight. Rahman won, Rahman's champ. Stop being a ****** and respect your champion, *****.
