^^ how can you expect to throw one hand and still win a fight? Especially with Vitali's style.

Against Byrd? Even if Byrd won all three of the last rounds, he loses on the cards! You think Byrd could have knocked Vitali out?! LOL

Apparently Vitali thought so, which is even sadder

I dont think he was scared, and even if he was, we'll never know anyway. I believe he was injured, some athletes are more prone to injury than others. Just look at Chad Pennington for the Jets. I dont think he would give up $8,000,000 and damage his reputation like this because of fear. Besides, his injuries were all legitamized. I think he would've fought if it was merely a sprain but torn ligaments and a ruptured ACL? Aint no way you can fight. I think its possible because hes been fighting for over 20 years, hes real big awkward and clumsy. Rahman and King are saying he's scared because they have no class much like the haters on this site.

actually I torn my acl but I could still walk on it. The sport braces are designed to not let your knee hyper extent or overrotate I know this would have worked for VK but he said he had tried allof them but they didn't work. I guss he is right though because even though it prevents the knee still feels weak and you tend to favor the other leg. It really doesn't matter how much muscle mass you have it will still feel weak. Rotating for side to side would have had a huge impact on him.

            QUITALI WAS SCARED

            period

he's seen Rock's highlight-reel KO of Lennox thousands of times, and it musta ruined his confidence, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten "injured" on 4 OCCASIONS this year....

the real question is: who's a more disgraceful former champ: Quitali or Bruce Seldon? Both are phonies, both are quitters, but who was worse?

a biased question receives biased responses....

"do you think" = "give us your biased opinion"

how can we objectively analyze a man's heart? It can't be done, so questions like this will ALWAYS receive biased opinions

and in my own biased opinion QUITALI WAS SCARED, quitting 4 times has some objectivity to back my point though

You dumb ****, its not just about punching with that hand, its about getting hit on that sholder too.

If he continued and got hit on that sholder more or threw more right hands there would be permanent damage to his sholder.

Its about knowing the limits of your body, he knows that better then any other boxer in history because that was what he studied.

The man got a surgery on his sholder for Christ sake...right after that fight and you stil want to argue?

                  now STFU and dissapear

YES and NO. He was definitely "afraid" to step into the ring, because his physical limitations might lead to a serious injury.

Rahman might not have been able to beat a 100% ready Vitali. But, Vitali must have been aware of the potential for real harm if he faced Rahman, or any other live opponent, especially with an injury that's serious enough to cause him to retire!
