Hit and don't get hit. Its not get hit and hope you score a knockout in the exchange. That's called being a fool with no defense or sensible game plan.

i mean as long as everybody agrees that cotto wasn't going to slug out with margarito, it's fine.

some particularly mexicans see it as a ***** move,

while others, particularly puerto ricans see it as genius.

but remember dlh-trinidad, role reversal much?

              what does this tell us?

there are a lot of nationalistic tendencies everywhere.

Edit: to answer op's question. Why does he need to take the unnecessary damage?

It's called sticking to a gameplan. They had a gameplan to offset Margarito's pressure and Cotto executed it.

Why does Boxing equal Running to so many so called fans?

If a guy isn't as big as his opponent, why the hell should he stand in trade?

If a guy doesn't have the power to KO a guy, why the hell would he trade?

If a fighter has trouble with movement, why not expose that?

I swear, if it was up to most of u guys...Boxing would be nothing more that Rock'em Sock'em robots!!! SMDH
