Cotto is a left hand dominant fighter which would always be easy for Pac..
And Cotto's guard is always open for uppercuts, which is Pac's favorite punch, apart from the left straight (which is his KO punch)..

And copying Marquez style, even if he could pull it off, is only enough to make it a close fight. And there is no way Cotto can win a close fight over Pac, not with that 100 Million Dollar fight with Floyd still left hanging in the air...

Pacman has gotten softer, or he's become so accustom to fighters standing in his face, movement perplexes him. Cotto can move far better than Mosley & can still throw a punch or 2 & has a elite level jab. he corrected many mistakes against Margarito he can do the same against Pacman. He's my favorite fighter, but Pac is a whole different animal. Pac's feet are so much faster than his, even if he tried to move like he did tonight, Pac would get to him with his speed. The gameplan he employed tonight would not work against Pacquiao.

Styles makes fight. As simple as that.. Having a jab is not enough.. He needs to work on his right hand lead, which he doesnt have because he is natural left hander who is fighting on an orthodox stand.. You are trying to change Cotto's style, which we all know is too late at this stage of his career.
