    thats just not true, floyd hardly ever ties up on the inside. even when hes hurt he doesnt tie up, he uses his arms a bit to push his oponents around but thats part of inside fighting to a certain degree.

    floyd is a great inside fighter, he beat several of them at their own game. jesus chavez, ricky hatton etc.

        i dont understand why people think floyd is an inside fighter... especially claiming he is the "BEST"... james toney's inside game is way more dynamic than floyds. floyd fights VERY good on the inside, but i wouldnt categorize him as an inside fighter.

        floyd loves his distance... the moment it gets close, he rolls & pushes off with his elbow to get his desired range... toney would actually stay in that phonebooth, roll & throw inside uppercuts and hooks to PERFECTION.

        james toney is the DEFINITION of SLICK.

        when i think of "inside fighter", i think of fighters that LOVE to stay in the pocket
