Great fight. Have it for the IBF or WBA title, if Khan beats Peterson next saturday and than most likely vacates the titles for his move to 147. Alvarado is ranked in the top 10 for the WBO, WBA, and IBF, and is coming off good wins over Narh and Prescott, and Rios is already a force in boxing.

Have it as a HBO Main Event in March/April 2012.

I would be picking Brandon by TKO in 9 or 10, but it could just as easily be Alrado by TKO in 9 or 10 as well. Both are so similar, and it will be one of the first times Rios has fought someone as good, with the same power, and who's actually a bit bigger. Alvarado was like 155-160 in his last fight against Prescott, and Rios usually comes in around 150-155.

No way, Canelo and Jr. pack arenas by themselves, there is no need to be a preliminary to anyone. Besides Golden Boy wants Floyd vs Canelo already and are trying to get the fight done for May.

Mayweather-Cotto is more likely to happen than Mayweather-Alvarez. Maybe in 2013, when Alvarez actually has beaten somone like Cotto, Kirkland, Angulo, Lara, or even Trout or Martirosyan. His best win is over a past prime Cintron.

I agree that if Alvarez-Chavez Jr. happens, it will in MEX, CA, or TX, and will be a mian event on PPV probably. But, for some unknown reason, Alvarez seems to not want that fight. I don't know why, even with the size advantage for Julio, Canelo is a much better boxer, and has power to hurt Chavez, and would probably be favored to win. I wish that happened, but it probably won't. If it did, at least we could move on with one and leave the other behind finally.

Alvarado has no chance was hoping for Bradley. Arum's stable of fighters at 140 stinks and you know being the greedy piece of shyt that he is Rios will never fight Maidana, Danny Garcia or Matthysse.

That isnīt more likely to happen since Floyd vs Canelo is already in negotiations. But oh well, we know floyd has the last word.

I agree but the fight is in the mold of Corrales vs Castillo 1, one of the all-time great fight..........
