      mitchell is a tune up
floyd wants to fight a slick, fast boxer to prepare for his next fight.

Is this considered picking his opponents?

i don't like PBF much but i got respect for him for taking on corrales and castillo twice, you gotta have balls for both.
problem now is that i believe he beat gatti to gain attn. its not uncommon to beat a known low risk fighter.
the problem i had was that he called out winky and didn't really push for a fight with him, uncool and did he really want winky? i don't think so.
                would he beat cotto? yes
hatton? toss up cause of the volume punching of hatton
how about margarito? hmmmmm i dont' know about that one margarito is a swarming volume punching fighter whos also naturally bigger, true hasnt' fought the same level but i think margarito could pull it off.
not a bad idea to start of with mitchell first though cant' blame him for it.
calling out DLH but on terms fo 47? i don't think so, especially since DLH inked at 54 with mayorga, winky's in 60, and i believe he'll stay at 54, cause no one else is there except vargas and maybe finally unify for fist time, and take on vargas
prognosis: i know PBF gets past mitchell and probably gets passed judah as well, then i think he ducks margarito cause lets face it, i love this mexican, but hes got no name recognition, so he'll move up to 54 for his first bout with DLH, problem is DLH has been at that weight for a long time and up to 60 with hopkins and it would be PBF first time at 54 and DLH will sit on his punches more and probably gets a late tko over PBF. eh but what do i know, it would be interesting though

Of course boxing fans have heard of Margarito, the problem is only the diehard boxing fans knows about Margarito, regular fans have never heard of Margarito.

I've seen Mr. Margarito & I'm not impressed by this guy. All the people saying that Floyd is ducking Margarito are Mexican or Mexican nutlovers.

Margarito with his website makes it look like he's the most feared boxer today, we should let all the Mexicans think that Floyd is ducking Mr. Margarito, this just makes all the Margarito nutlovers look more ******ed.

Plain & simple, Floyd is not ducking Boxing scene's creation.

It's his choice to go to 147, and it looks to me that he could still make 140 easily. He's 5'8" and only 28.

Seeing as his last 5 opponents are Sosa, N'dou, Corley, Bruseles and Gatti, I can't see giving him the benefit of the doubt for taking "only one more" easy opponent. He's at an age where at least every other fight should be a PPV megafight, a challenge. Instead, he's taking the easy road and whining that his most challenging opponents won't fight for crumbs.

PBF could be a huge crossover star like ODLH that draws in a wider audience. Instead, he's fighting next on regular HBO.

That's just dumb, and depriving us, the fans, of great fights. It's no wonder we get garbage like Rahman-Barrett on PPV because the PPV calendar is certainly not getting crowded out by PBF.

The fact that you think Floyd is gonna get the crap beaten out of him by some guy named Maragarita doesn't say much about your boxing knowledge. All you can say is Margarita is gonna beat Mayweather, HOW? Can your girl even get pass Spinks?
