Miguel schooled him and won every round. He had plenty in the tank too with only 3 rounds to go and a one eyed fighter who struggled to score infront of him

Round before stoppage I think Cotto felt Margarito weaken and beginning to break. He CHOOSE to fight inside more and pushed Margarito back against the ropes and traded with him.

It reminded me of the last 2 rounds of Margarito vs Mosley where Mosley for the first time in the fight felt Margarito weakening and started pushing Margarito back and mixing it up inside.

I think the last 3 rounds would've been loopsided rounds with Cotto being more aggressive and sitting on his punches more. Would that have stopped Margarito??? Who knows but the beating would've been intensified not ebbed.

Even though I was going for Cotto, he was definitely hurt a few times by body shots in like rounds 3 and 4 and noticeably slowed down but Margs couldnt really push on in the middle rounds fighting with one eye
