Cotto should thank Pacquiao for that stoppage

The only damage done to Margarito's face was around the previously damaged eye.

Cotto's face was again starting to show the damage done by Margarito, slightly less than the first fight, but then again, they were using 10oz Everlast tonight as opposed to 8oz Reyes.

There were three rounds left in the fight. Tony was coming on strong like he did in the first fight; Cotto was starting to wilt, again. That was a strategic stoppage by the heavily pro-Cotto NY commission.

I would say there should be a Trilogy fight, but Tony's eye will not hold up anymore, in any fight for that matter. He needs to call it quits now.

Awesome first three rounds by Cotto BTW. Very impressive.

Margarito should retire. His eye just isn't the same anymore. He fought valiantly and his heart wanted to keep going but his body just can't take that punishment anymore.

Let's also thank Pacquiao for refusing to stand up to Bob Arum to make a Floyd Mayweather fight. Thank you for the years of irrelevant fights and hero worship, Manny, you're such a humble man. It's all up to his promoter y'all- t-shirts coming soon.

Pac ****ed up Margarito more than anyone could have imagined. Marg doesn't go in head first looking to exchange anymore, he was trying to set up the jab. And his punches are slow as **** now. He still has a good chin and good workrate but he can't see **** from his right periphery and he was literally target pratice to anyone who circles that way.

That being said it was amazing to see him not give a **** during the later rounds when his eye was completely shut and he was still walking Cotto down and landing shots. He once again earned my respect for being a warrior in the ring

yeah he came superstrong like in the first fight. Except he hadn't damaged cotto at all and lost all 9 rounds.
In the first fight at round 10 he had damaged cotto badly and had won 4 or maybe even 5 rounds.

Can't even give a man his due. Sad.

Cotto's face after six tonight bore scant resemblance to his six round face the last time.

Marg cheated for the win the first time. Tonight he got his ass righteously kicked w/o his unfair advantage.

                  Live with it.

And Pacquiao should thank Cotto, Mosley, catchweights, and the suspension for softening up Margarito for him and allowing him to win.
