Margarito looked good for a while there in the 4th and 5th. By the time of
the stoppage Cotto was basically doing whatever he wanted. He wasnt
afraid of Margarito's punches and he was on his toes again. Stopping it
was the right thing to do because his eye was completely shut, he was down on all the cards and wasnt doing much. But if anybody deserved to lose an eye via some more precise punching from Cotto it is Margarito for playing with people's lives.

I would much rather see a fight between Alvarez and Chavez. Let's get these two in the ring while they both are undefeated. I give Cotto credit, he finally learned a little ring generalship and avoided the uppercuts for the 1st time in his career, but let's be honest here, Cotto was gassed! And had the fight continued and margos eye wasn't deformed, I'm not soo sure cotto had the stamina to last the distance. I say that to say this, based on that showing Idk why anyone would be calling for a cotto-mayweather now. The skill level is not even close for one, and Cotto is now a full fledge middleweight, he can't make 47 healthy anymore, and Floyd already won a title a middleweight so theres no reason for him to move up again, we all know floyd doesn't usually fight at catchweights, he can barley make 147 as it is, floyd has already proved himself they aren't saying cotto is the p4p best in the world because he beat a handicapped margarito. Fact of the matter is that ship has sailed now Cotto and Floyd should of fought yrs ago at 140, I don't wanna see that fight id rather see cotto vs manny again..
