Stoppage was good and needed. What many of yall are failing to realize is that the doctors are there to protect the fighters from themselves. Margs was taking a sever beating, and getting hit with virtually EVERYTHING. Dont matter he didnt go down or still coming forward, the doctor did his job, and it was in the fighters best interest. Nothing wrong with the stoppage.

no they should have let it go on knowing that the last fight was very similar in that cotto was doing good then margarito destroyed him so obviously this fight was going in the same direction

I would of preferred for it to have continued but Margarito's eye was swollen shut so the doctor had to do his job.

No..I wanted to see the last three rounds. It could've been very intersting to see a desperate Margarito coming forward even harder looking for the KO.

Yes, three more rounds would have been good. Margarito wanted to continue. Cotto also looked a bit dissatisfied, you could see he wanted to give margaritos eye more punishment.

it looked bad- toni has the heart of a warrior and he'd probably keep fighting even if his eye fell out of the socket

Not happy at all. Tony wanted to fight and I wanted to see what Cotto had left. You can tell in the last 30 seconds of the 9th round that Cotto was loosing steam and on his way to gas out. Those three rounds had fireworks written all over them and the doctor stole it from us. Anyways, good for my Cotto, he fought well enough for his W
