The PPV telecast we were given in NZ ( it wasn't HBO, might've been SkyTV) had Cotto and Arum being interviewed together. Cotto said that it's not the end of him and Arum together and that Arum will always be his promoter. I wasn't happy when he said this I hate arum

Chavez Jr should be licking his chops. A smaller opponent who's got a name that can deliver him a pay day? Come on now... how could he not like it... but he's still too big

          Bob cashing in on JCCJ.

"Cotto small against JCCJ. This fight would be exciting."

Cotto shouldn't fall for the trap, though I guess as a retirement fight which he should retire he could make some serious money and maybe not take it to seriously.

JC Chavez Sr. is one of if not my all time favorite fighters and while his son is a good fighter there is no way he can live up to the HYPE that surrounds him. For Arum and Golden Boy to even think that he's in the same class as Cotto or Margarito is just laughable. They are doing a terrible disservice to the Boxing Sport and to Chavez Jr. himself. To put him in the ring with either of those fighters could get that kid seriously hurt or worse...killed. Again these promoters are really pushing the envelope here ... all in the name of GREED. How much more money does Bob Arum or Golden Boy need?
Last, i would seriously doubt that Freddy Roach would let his fighter move forward with the likes of Cotto. I truly believe that Roach has great integrity and would make a stand against it. Maybe is should say - I would at least hope so.
