but i think the weight benefits cotto more. . . he will have more stamina and better punch resistance. . . margarito's shots are disgustingly slower. . . cotto gets 50 miles to the gallon this time, en route to a 116-112 victory. . .

lol touche, touche. . . but i was not on here back then! i have been pointing out cotto's inability to transition from offense to defense, and vice versa, as well! great minds think alike i suppose!

lol nah it was all just a joke. . . i knew this was his own analysis. . . i have an ongoing battle with roaldie regarding his pre-report card grades and analyses!

to see an e-knockout, refer to my post above firing back at the irish ginger!

ummmm, the biggest difference in this fight, will be that margarito is plasterless......rold.

they beat the hell outta each other, but margarito has looked like **** since the mosley fight, and while cotto hasn't exactly looked prime, he looks like he has a lot more left than the carpenter.

                cotto ends margarito's career tonight.

Cliff, couldn't agree with you more on the first fight. Margarito didn't have plaster on his chin. Cotto couldn't take the pressure and got discouraged when his best shots weren't putting a dent in Margarito who would jog back to Cotto at times. We saw a lil discouragement in the Mosley fight when Cotto started back peddling to a Shane who decided to pressure. Cotto is going to have to stop Margarito's pressure and get to the body to have a chance. I've always said that. Not sure who to pick because both look like they lost something but if I had to go 50/50, I would say Cotto by decision or Margarito by late TKO due to pressure. The only way I can see Cotto stopping Margarito is if he found an opening to go to the body of Antonio and lay it on his rib cage.

You can hit Margarito all day in his head, he will not take an inch of a backwards step, but when you jab him, hook him to the body (look at Mosley fight) it throws his rhythm off, and he backs up and resets, it's what Mosley did to him. Cotto as good of a body puncher is, did not do this ironically in the first fight, and that's where he lost it, a tactical fault that led to a physical losing fault. It's MANDATORY that he shoots jabs to the body and hooks. If he repeats he same pattern in the first fight, look for a similar outcome. If he mixes it up to the body, it'll make a difference, and he'll possibly win by stoppage. Just my take.
Good call. Cotto has to make Margarito respect his power and abilities as the better boxer or Cotto loses again.

Margarito's power is a ??? for me. Let's see how Cotto reacts to his punches, that's one of the questions that will be answered tonight.
