Those probably work really well if you are like 400lb or something.

when people ask me what i look for in determining how drawn a fighter looks i tell them to look at his skin tone and his face and head. glen johnson for instance at 168 is weight drained. he's there for the big fights and the money he'll make being an opponent for literally everybody. (not to mention he'd smoke abraham.)

rios is dry as a bone. there's no moisture in his face. even his eyelids look drained.

looking at him walking around you don't think lightweight. the guy walks around at 155-160 lbs or more.

      he's a welterweight
      he's a weight cutting WW

he'll likely do fine at 140 for at least a year or so. probably enough to fight for a world title and get in some defenses.

5 lbs for a guy in that type of condition is another planet.

its too bad marcos maidana doesnt fight for top rank
anybody know what the structure of his contract with GBP looks like?
we know rios aint going anywhere, either. he makes great money and benefits from top rank's excellent promotional work

      that fight would be surreal
like angulo and kirkland without the long layoffs for either guy leading up to it.

Rio may not pass 8th rd tomorrow. All Murray has to do is make him run more than 8 rds and I think Rios is done.

if you're big enough its certainly possible to dump a bunch of weight off temporarily, but not for people in rios case
big piss. big *****. sit in a sauna. if you are big enough and you dont drink any water you will temporarily drop off many lbs doing that

rios has been losing weight for 10 weeks, maybe more.

he's got nothing left to lose at this point.

Rios is now following Pac's career course. Rios will moved to 147, then keep moving up 6 division. His gonna be a champ at 154, 160, 168,175,200, then have a catch weight fight at heavyweight division.

Arum already got a replacement for Pac. Rios just need to replace Garcia with Roach.

LOL Rios be allright, but this is a reality check for RIOS time to move up. pay the fee loose the belt but win and move up.

and to the *******s that are making fun of rios cause he is weight drained , look at pacquaio ****ing fights and be honest.
