Comments Thread For: Guerrero: Khan Running, Hides Behind Roach and Ariza

Former champion Robert Guerrero was shaking his head after reading the recent comments that were made by WBA/IBF junior welterweight champion Amir Khan, who in a recent interview told reporters that Juan Manuel Marquez refused to fight him earlier in the year. Guerrero, citing Khan's own comments, says the British boxer turned him down earlier this year, and instead took what Guerrero believes was an easier fight against Zab Judah. Before he reached an agreement with Judah, Khan told British reporters that Judah was a lackluster opponent and Guerrero made a lot more sense.

Of course he is, Khan can add Guerrero to the list of avoidables like Maidana II and Bradley.

is guerrero every going to do anything noteworthy in his career or is he going to keep fighting washed up fighters and talking trash? his career has spanned 4 weight divisions and he's somehow managed to miss all the good fighters(except salido who he lost to and wasn't even known at the time)

I think Orlando Salido failed a drug for a banned substance, so they changed it to a no-contest . I think most of the fighters are ducking Robert Guerrero ( i.e Brandon Rios ), so thats the reason he's calling out the big names.

What is he supposed to do if Khan won't fight him? Guerrero offered him the fight.

Are you joking? What has he done to deserve a shot at the top guy at 140 his best win is against a battle worn Kats at 135.
