Call me crazy but i think chavez jr will fight martinez

AND NOT ONLY THAT BUT HE WILL BEAT HIM! IMO CHAVEZ JR HAS ENOUGH CHIN TO TAKE SERGIO'S BEST PUNCHES AND I DONT THINK SERGIO HAS BEEN HIT AS HARD AS THE WAY CHAVEZ JR HITS! PAVLIK WAS NOT EVEN HIMSELF , HE WAS FIGHTING TWO FIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME. VS ALCOHOL AND VS MARTINEZ THAT NITE! VS WILLIAMS WELL WE ALL KNOW WILLIAMS HAS PILLOWS FOR FISTS ! SO THERE WAS NO INTIMIDATION OR RESPECT AND GOT CAUGHT WITH SOME GOOD PUNCHES! MARTINEZ VS CITRON LOOKED AVERAGE AND WAS CALLED A DRAW ! MARGARITO KNOCKED HIM OUT , AND CHAVEZ APPLIES THE SAME PRESSURE AS MARGARITO BUT HAS BETTER DEFENSE THAN MARGARITO AND HE IS BETTER TECHNICALLY TOO! SO I KNOW HE WILL NOT DISSAPOINT AND STEP TO DEFEND HIS TITLE ! CHAVEZJR OVER MARTINEZ 10RDKO ps.. I hope this fights does happen , I know Chavez jr wants it and Sergio does too! It would be a war and if Chavez losses his belt the night of the fight at least he was given the chance of trying to defend it!

Well said to the both of you. I'm not a Pirog expert but he beats a prospect (Jacobs, his biggest win) and Martinez doesn't want to fight him (in Pirog's hometown if memory serves) and all of a sudden Sergio's ducking him. Seriously, look at who Maetinez has fought over the past several years and it would be hard to say he's ducking people.

Julio has never fought anyone who is considered world class. Manfredo is barley ESPN material and Zbik is hardley any better. It's easy to look good when the guy standing across the ring from you has no skills. Chavez will get ****d.

110% sure he will vacate. They will make some bullshit up about wanting to fight Canelo or something, but everyone will see it for the clear duck it will be.

i dont think he'll vacate, i forgot freddy roach is his trainer and i really doubt freddy is going to tell him to vacate instead of being a man and defending his championship ...

otherwise if he vacates it his whole image will take a pr blow

Freddy doesn't call the shots. Bob Arum runs Chavez just like he runs Pacquiao. Arum doesn't give a shyte about that belt he will not let Chavez anywhere near Martinez if there is a possible fight with Canelo out there. Either way Chavez with get violated in the worst way by any world class fighter they put him in with.

even if he loses bad, at least he can say he fought against a great fighter unlike Canelo.

it's a win win for Chavez because nobody expects anything from him.

This kinda' what I think as well, though I hold Canelo in higher regard than rey does apparently.

As long as Chavez can make some kinda' fight out of it it'll do him no harm in the long run.

Hell, even if he loses badly, in 5 years (he'll be 30yo) nobody'll remember it if he continues to improve his game.

Fuggit. Take the fight Jr. I bet he wants to. If he ends up vacating, I'll blame his pops and maybe Arum, but mostly his pops.
