It's not just a loss, he lost to a nobody that had a 13% KO ratio..lol..and it took 1 round and 3 KD's..it's more than "just a loss"

Not to mention he got dropped and depended on Angulo to punch himself out like an idiot before he can get his legs back and take over..

Kirkland will be a force in due time, more work, and a lot more sparring with quality Boxers, not heavyweight street brawlers from TX in a 8ft ring..

and I disagree, Cotto and Margarito both beat the **** out of Kirkland at this point..
Well to each his own I guess. Just like I told you fools that Perro isn't as good as Margarito(prime). I think you were one of them that viewed Perro as a better version of Margarito correct? Not accusing, just asking.

I always thought Angulo was a better puncher but he can't cut off a ring to save his life, so overall I think a prime Margarito is definitely better.

I always thought Cotto's chances against those two was underrated. Kirkland just can't take a punch and Angulo is there to be outboxed cause he can't cut off a ring.

I might have, not sure if I downplayed Margarito in a comparison to Perro though.

But I had hopes in Angulo, his demeanor and style was appealing. He could still **** but a semi-decent boxer works him over all night, that's why I'm not really in to the "Plod forward and swing for the KO" boxers..it's useless unless you got an iron chin and amazing stamina (Margarito)..

C'mon, man. Let Kirkland have another fight before jumping so hard on his pipe. Any of the top guys at JMW would've looked good in there with Angulo as punched out as he was. This reminds me of the way people ****** on Mosley after the Margo fight.

Don't see Margarito losing to Kirkland, Margarito lives for those type of fights. Classic example of immovable object and irresistible force.

If Cotto does sign with GBP, his options increase tenfold.

There is still hope. I just don't know if Nacho is the best trainer for his aggressive style. Nacho wants you to box more and boxing to a pressure fighter gives the opponent more breathing room to think and act.

Jumping on his pipe? I'm sorry but I'm not a bandwagon jumper. I told people before the fight not to sleep on Kirkland just cause he lost to Ishida. Same thing I said about Mosley before he fought Margarito.

I was thinking the same thing..Nacho doesn't suit his style at all.

I think he's better off with his original trainer, (can't think of his name), or even Robert Garcia.
