TS Don't u think he has more to prove at his weight first??? He def has talent but the top 2 guys in his division have done something AB has yet to do..... Actually beat a champ n his own division... Funny thing to me is that AB's last opponent was already beat by a guy AB KO'd 2 yrs ago.... He has talent just needs a good test like say a top 10 opponent at 130 first

broner looks good so far. . . but he's only fighting C-B- type guys. . . That guy he fought for a title was a step back from Ponce and Litz. . . Ponce and Litz are both B- guys. . . But to be fair to Broner, he was swerved by Burns. . .

I want to see either him wait around for the featherweights like Gamboa and company. .. or go ahead and move to lightweight. . . although all the good up and coming FW's are TOP RANK, so the chance of that fight is slim. . .

basically look through the fighters in golden boy and gary shaw's stable - and that is who will be fighting him.

Uchiyama looked pretty bad against Miura but, everybody has an off night. I'm really high on Kenichi Ogawa and Yoshihiro Kamegai. Takahiro Ao recently had a lackluster performance against a relative unknown recently.

the best guy in the division sans broner is solis. but i would love to see him vs uchiyama. both are good talents with numerous question marks.

Broner is the Diet Coke version of Floyd. He's the quasi-Floyd. He moves like Floyd, he punches like Floyd, but yet something is missing.

IMO the main difference is that he tends to slip in his fights, and like it happened to him against Ponce de León, he was just caught with a lot of punches, something that almost never happens to Floyd.

Floyd is almost impossible to hit, but Broner isn't.

the brains. the skill level is a notch lower as well. but ten again its floyd we are talking about. its one thing to emulate him, but its another to do what he does and completely understand why he does it in a specific situation. broner doesnt have that yet it seems.

He lacks obviously the finesse skill of Floyd, he's worse in every way bar maybe power. I'd pick Rios to eat him up tbh.

Alot of people call him the Poor Man's Mayweather, and I tend to agree. If this is supposedly the next big star in boxing then I really don't have high hopes for the sport.

                      Exactly.

And Floyd has that understanding because his fundamentals are so sound.

I was having flashbacks of the Gatti fight watching Broner assault Rodriguez.

Then the flaw appeared. Floyd assaulted then backed up, then jumped back in. To avoid being hit by a desperation punch. While Broner just stayed in, almost smothering his own punches.

That would get him in trouble against a guy who can take his punches, has power of their own, or is tactical minded.

Broner is his own man, I know that but I just noticed these flaws in his game. It's also easier to notice when he emulates such a high quality, precision based style.
