    Single elimination is definitely best.

It needs to be on an exact schedule however. Because the Super 6 was fucking half a year between rounds.

    No way it happens though.

You'd be able to finish this tourney in a year and a half, **** would be so dope.

And we could just have like a random raffle to see who fights who in the first round.

perhaps if boxing was under one governing body this may happen. with all the bull**** politics in the sports the fans come out the real losers

Def cool with the idea..... The more tournaments the better..... In a perfect world the best of each division wouldn't be left out/duck it

this is probably my fav division in boxing right now...
i'd put 4 fights together like this:
            alvarez/martirosyan
            trout/kirkland
            lara/molina
            k9/dzinziruk or k9/angulo

wolak wouldn't beat trout, alvarez, or lara, so i don't expect him to have a chance. pwill only wants one or two more fights and against any of these guys, he probably gets beat pretty convincingly. cotto deff wouldn't do this, and margs would have the same fate as wolak.

Yep, that would be perfect. Too hard to pull off though as there are a few guys there that no way in hell would do it.

I think more realistically 160 pound tournament would work. I made a thread about that here:

                  Peter Quillin
                  Matthew Macklin
                  Dmitry Pirog
                  Gennady Golovkin
                  Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam
                  Marco Antonio Rubio
                  Daniel Geale
                  Andy Lee
                  David Lemieux
                  Danny Jacobs
                  Fernando Guerrero
                  Nobuhiro Ishida

I'd rather see this, it'd be a good way to breathe some life into that division. middleweight is a solid division just gets no credit because there are not enough stars...throw in 4 more guys...proksa, korobov, barker, zbik...make it single elimination...tough to pick a winner there
