Could Floyd's come forward aggressive style backfire against Pacquiao

It would definitely backfire. I don't care how intelligent or skilled Floyd is pressuring fighters, it's a death sentence against Pacquiao and he is not better at that style than Pacquiao is at killing someone coming towards him.

Mayweather's pretty good at controlling the distance. Even when he's right infront of you.

He's not going to move forward into Pacquaio's grill and push him backwards.

But he'll stand right infront of him and control the distance and dictate the pace.

No way is Pacquaio by any means dictating the pace of this fight.

If Mayweather wants Pac to cut his output, even when standing right infront of him, he will.

if floyd decides to be aggressive against pac then we may see a repeat of leonard vs duran I where leonard fought duran's fight instead of trying to outbox him like many people expected him to do.

Nope. Floyd's a chameleon. He'll know if it doesn't work and he'll adapt immediately. Manny is too one-dimensional. It's one hell of a dimension but he's still one-dimensional. Pac lunges in too much and Floyd will make him eat straight rights all frickin' night. When all else fails, Pac will go back to that jab-jab-straight left like he did in ALL the Marquez fights or straight left-right hook-straight left. That's the problem with Pac. He's like a Street Fighter character. Puzzle him and he can only do two types of special moves. Floyd also has a faster reaction time (and probably faster twitch muscles) than Pac.

yep, he sure adjusted on the fly vs judah, he kept doing the same thing, throughout the whole fight, the one that changed was judah, he got broken down(by his natural tendencies, weak mind and the body attack of floyd)

floyd couldn't avoid judah's straight left that came after the jab to save his life

this is what will break down pac, pac has mental lapses and we have seen look confused with boxers. in the judah fight floyd CUT OFF THE RING, and starting puttin punches together to judahs body and head. manny doesnt have the mental capacity to hang with floyd. if manny comes lunging in its check hook all night or he can eat a straight right hand, floyd will cut off the ring with manny and break his body down. freddy roach stops it in the 9th. mayweather doesnt engage!!!!! thinking mans game and pac is no thinker

LOL what are you talking about? The last few rounds of that fight were nothing like the first few rounds. Judah tried the straight left in the latter half of the fight but had trouble landing it. That is why Judah got upset, what he was doing at the beginning of the fight was no longer working and he got frustrated.

LOL at Floyd having multiple fighting styles and adapting bull shick....like this muhfuxa poofs into Pernell one minute and Aaron Pryor the next. Floyd either fights that shoulder roll style, pot-shotting and throwing low elbows or that walk down style, pot-shotting and throwing high elbows.....from there he looks to judges to score the round for him.....I wish y'all Floyd fans came up watching boxing in the 80s with ABC's Wide World of Sports

If you don't move backward then Mayweather doesn't try and force you backward.

If you refuse to back down and stand your ground he will happily stand right infront of you, but at a distance, and box.

If this fight does happen, Pac may be spitting out his mouthpiece MULTIPLE times in this fight.

If Mayweather insists on going at Pac, he's not as good at that as Pac is at punishing that style. Mayweather will eat good shots and realize it is much easier to make Pacquiao chase, and if he doesn't he'll lose. Absolutely confident about that.

This fight would depend on Mayweather. If he makes Pacquiao chase, he wins easy. If he thinks he is going to pull a Judah or Mosley, Pacquiao will make him pay.
