Manny doesn't strike me as a fighter that's particularly hungry to face Mayweather, quite the opposite, he seems to be completely content to allow Bob Arum make him look bad in the eyes of the boxing community and public. I don't believe he's scared by any stretch of the imagination but it's clear Arum has a stranglehold on this fight and it won't happen unless he says it's going to happen.

Of course Pacquaio wont confirm its not yet a done deal too early negotiation didnt start yet. Arum will talk to Pacquaio after the holiday season he is giving Pacquaio to think and rest.

When I saw his reaction to the question regarding Mayweather (in the ring during the post-fight interview), I just rolled my eyes. Sure, he'll take the fight with all that money involved but his confidence seems to have wavered. Luckily, his promoter has no interest in making the fight happen at all.

                  Pac doesn't want any

Pac is not particularly hungry because he's scared to lose! "I am not saying it will push through" WTF is that?

And no, I'm not buying the "there is no contract to sign" BS excuse.

If he was even remotely interested he would say something like "sign today and I'll sign tomorrow" or at least "sign your offer today and I'll sign my offer tomorrow and lets get it done!" show the public that you indeed want to make it happen! Show some interest for god's sake!

He doesn't want to take the risk of losing because it will affect his future political plans! The kid already has one foot out the door! He can't afford to lose because if he does no one will vote for a loser.

I wouldn't even be surprised that if he doesn't fight Money May, he would not chase the 4th fight with JMM. He can't have an official loss.

Like I said, his mind is set on winning votes and losing another match will jeopardize his political goals.

Manny said "hopefully" because it depends on his promoter Bob Arum. Seriously. If it was in his hands he could make the fight happen. He only has doubt because he doesn't know if Arum will go through with it or not. He agreed to the testing so there's no roadblock.
