It’s a shame you think like that, but of course you’re entitled to your opinion.

If ever a fighter NEEDED to claw back some respect, it is Mr David Haye.

I backed him feverishly in July and was made to look like (and feel like) a right proper wally after his pathetic attempt, not to mention the even worse excuse. I couldn’t believe what unfolded before my eyes.

But, i believe in second chances. If this fights gets signed then of course, I will back him 100%. I am an Englishman and thus will always encourage my brethrens, BUT, Mr Haye, you must fight like an Englishman. Show the heart and courage of an Englishman and never surrender !

I am simply not convinced his bottle is what he claims it to be anymore, but potentially he has a chance to prove me wrong, and for his sake and his reputations sake, i hope he does
david haye mugged the british public on various occasions, which in fact resulted in sky shying away from screening pay per view boxing. there's plenty of englishmen that don't deserve the support of their countrymen and haye obviously doesn't give a **** if he becomes one of them as long as he can line his pockets and then piss off to hollywood and leave us behind feeling ******.

I don’t think this thread need become race based. You are of course referring to the shambles of both the Wlad fight and the Harrison fight. Far enough.

Please do bear in mind that other than this David Haye has been a great servant to British boxing and no amount of arguing can deter from that fact.

The issue, as i keep trying to point out, is that of redemption.

The guy has no chance, and also the dude deserves nothing from this fight but to be knocked the **** out!
He has been in 2 embarassing fights now with Wladimir and Fraudley, and the guy has no chance against Vitali, I hope he gets destroyed

How has he been great? he makes british boxing look bad with how pathetic and low he takes it when it comes to disrespecting his opponents.

If i have to answer that then you really don’t know your boxing, or at least British boxing.

I appreciate you feel mugged off, believe me, so do I, and i also appreciate because of this you don’t like the fella too much, but please try to be objective. So few people on this forum seem capable of that.

You forget that had he beaten Wlad then his reputation would be almost impregnable right now, this very day. Boxing is a fine line.

The memory of a boxing fan gets shorter and shorter. Also, most on here tend to follow boxers after notable victories, such with Haye being noticed post-Mormeck.

Rewind the clock a bit. Sincerely, Haye has done a lot for British boxing and only someone narrow mined and un-objective would say different.

Again, I reiterate, the issue here is redemption.

on the knockout wladimir took no for an answer

i doubt very much vitali will take no for an answer
he's much more confident in his ability to press.

he's also the better ring general and the more natural fighter
he's not worried in the least about anything haye can throw, even if haye still has power and could potentially hurt him

haye throws next to zero punches
                      he's not winning a decision
his only prayer is a knockout. and lets be real about his chances on knocking vitali out in a comeback fight after going 12 with wladimir and not winning a round.

he hardly made it out of his dressing room against wladimir
and then he promptly blamed his baby toe.
i'll believe this fight when i see it
