WRONG...no one wants to see you fight mayweather. Fight Kirkland u overrated bum of a champ. The fight with kermit ment nothing to me as cintron has been on a steady decline for a couple years now. Saul has a lot of good fights that he could make but floyd isn't one of them yet anyway

I don't want to see this fight any more than the next guy because Alvarez is not ready. Plus I don't think he should have to fight at 150 for his 154 strap.
Now saying that, I find it funny to see people questioning what Alvarez has done when fighters like Clottey, Margarito and Mosley didn't do **** to earn a fight vs Pac yet those fights where considered super duper dangerous and where supposed to be great great great threats to such a smaller fighter like the poor little man pac... The irony of people b*tching at Avlarez is staggering..
If Bob does not allow his son man pac to fight Mayweather, Alvarez, money wise makes more dollars than sense....
Mexican fighter for a Mexican holiday
HUGE paying fan base
Golden Boy Fighter/Easy business
Bigger/Stronger/Younger and a Champion in higher weight class
Financially, all the signs are there for Floyd to take on Alvarez if Bob doesn't make the fight we all want to see......

So, let me see Alvarez beats Kermit the Kook and now he thinks he is ready for the best boxer on the planet? He just may be kookier then Cintron.Last edited by Ravens Fan; 11-29-2011, 05:15 PM.

what has alvarez done to deserve a shot against floyd? got a gift vacant belt by beating a weak natural welter, and fought a few guys just to add their names to the resume. his best win is arguably a shot to pieces kermit cintron, that says it all. canelo isn't even best in his division (far from it actually).
there's just no argument that would justify floyd-alvarez, except that he has more fam

American media calls Mayweather the best but he is not. Who did he beat recently? Hatton? He is krap. De La Hoya? It was a robbery. Mosley? Pac played with him and he couldn't beat Sergio Mora. Marquez? He was very small and never hurt him anyways. Ortiz? He was outmuscleing Floyd before the cheapshot. Canelo has a good chance to beat him.

[Flavor of the week] has a good change to beat him. '
When all is said and done.
He would spank Canelo and you would conviniently forget about your posts outlining highlighting him as a challenge.
