LOL! i suppose its just in the media for over 3 years just for fun then? come on man, any real boxing fans that also follows the behind the curtain aspects of the game knows this fight will inevitably 100% happen. this is how it ALWAYS goes down before big fights, this one just happens to be more publicized because of the outburst of fans of pac, and the outburst of haters for may. they are gonna milk every second that they can to get the most **** for their buck. their businessmen first, fighters second, and neither are ******, and neither are scared. no way in hell does this fight not happen. they have no choice, everyone in the world knows it...

I can't claim to know, maybe the older posters can tell me, but for comparable mega fights like Trinidad-De La Hoya, Whitaker-Chavez, Leonard-Hearns 1, and the like, was there this much bullcrap over the course of two years before the fight was made? Maybe the fight was built up over years, but was there ever this much difficulty when it was time for the fight to be made?

There isn't a single quote from the fighters in that article. This is about what Arum is saying, not whether Manny is scared or Floyd is scared or whatever.

the fight is going to happen, relax. if you notice more and more there is more info floating around about "talks". Boxing is a hell of a business and their certainly not going to give the public what they want right away without some hype and frustrations first. anyone who thinks this fight wont happen should stop watching boxing. it amazes me people actually either think floyd is ducking manny, or manny is ducking floyd. its clear as glass this is all hype for the benjamins. no one is afraid of anyone lol, they're professional fighters!

its inevitable. how many times have 2 fighters been talked about so much in the media that never fought?? this has been going since 2008, and the only valid excuses both sides have is that either floyd is ducking, or manny is ducking. no one is ducking anyone!! they are milking us fans, and its working like a charm.

I really hope you're fight. I thought this was a guarantee for this year, so I have no faith in the fight happening now. Also, by next year the hype will have gone far down compared to where it would have been if it happened already.

nothing we can do about that, it is what it is. boxing is a business first and foremost, and you cant do what the customers want first, gotta do what the employees want. its sad, yes. its unfair to the true fans, yes. but we have no choice but to wait and support. theres alot of "what ifs" in boxing, always were and always has been, and people gotta start realizing its impossible to answer all of them, we jus gotta take it in stride, with what they give us...

I can only speak for myself, but this fight has already lost much of the importance it had in my mind. Neither of these guys will be as good as they would have been going into this fight in mid or late 2010, and if it happens in 2012 that's two years later than when the fight would have mattered most.
