nothing we can do about that, it is what it is. boxing is a business first and foremost, and you cant do what the customers want first, gotta do what the employees want. its sad, yes. its unfair to the true fans, yes. but we have no choice but to wait and support. theres alot of "what ifs" in boxing, always were and always has been, and people gotta start realizing its impossible to answer all of them, we jus gotta take it in stride, with what they give us...

You have to love Arum as as promoter, even if you rightly think he's a snake.

He wants to cut everyone out of the deal except he and Floyd. Forget Golden Boy and even forget Floyd's own economic advisers.

This actually seems to be legit and in line with Arum's strategy. He doesn't want to co-promote, he wants to bring the business straight to Floyd. Same tactic he used with Mosley and Marquez. Realistically Floyd doesn't need GBP for this. Top Rank is the biggest promoter out there, and as long as Floyd gets his 50/50, HBO date and venue of his choice, I see no reason why this shouldn't happen.
