They're just opinions.
The First STEP in negotiations is the introduction. It doesn't mean that a deal has to get done on the spot. One side has to approach each other to make any deal happen to "get the ball rolling". The article and everyone else is reading too much into the visit. Before spewing out conspiracy theories like the writer of that article, lets just wait and see what happens.

Wait, you think Top Rank people need to be introduced to GBP people?
Wait, you think Top Rank people need to be introduced to GBP people?
As in, they never met before?
Are you kidding?
I guess you didn't read the articles or have been following the negotiation saga for long. They said, Michael Koncz had a group of people when he visited Mayweather. Bob Arum claims that they are "investors". If they really are "investors" then being introduced to Floyd is an important step. Investors are not new to these negotiations like, Nelson Mandela's daughter.
Mayweather claims that he is his own boss, he doesn't need GBP to make a deal. If he cuts GBP, out then that's more money in his pocket.
As of right now, there is no fight. Just wait and see before believing conspiracy theories of others.
