Bob has to do something to earn his money. If the fight is easy to make, why should Pac Arum any money for making it happen. In fact, if Arum did not have an exclusive contract with Pac, Team Pac and Team Floyd could make the fight own their own, without promoters.

Last year he made them look like absolute clowns in the media- had Floyd hiding on 'vacation', had Schaefer and Ellerbe contradicting what everyone knew and what HBO said, had Oscar being 'misquoted' in video interviews. He planted the seeds for Floyd's flirtation period with Don King. Then this year he stole JMM and Mosley from right under their nose, got around 3 million PPV buys and $20 mil in gate revenues out of it. Then when GBP tried to retaliate by poaching Donaire, Arum clowned them again.

This is just exhibit F or whatever we're up to now. They tried to make Arum look bad in public, and he responded by freezing them out of the most lucrative bout in history. Checkers vs chess as usual.
