Alvarez most technically sound mexican boxer since De La Hoya

Most mexican fighters come forward, take 3 shots to land 1 and have no regard for defense, besides de la hoya and vargas in recent years. Alvarez is patient, holds up his guard and throws combinations.

Would you also agree that Alvarez is the most technically sound fighter since De la Hoya?

*Marquez is a great counterpuncher but his defense is lacking*

    Nah...not even Close

Ricardo Lopez > De La Hoya, Canelo

also Marquez is 38 years old

go watch his early stuff. He was too defensive. To the point that it would hurt his popularity. In his physical prime he was a better technically sound boxer than De la hoya and Canelo

Ricardo Lopez, young Marquez > De La Fishnets , Canelo

Yeah, Alvarez looks great against midgets and shot fighters. He even looked gassed against Cintron. I want Chavez Jr. vs Alvarez now

The TS is crazy or has a crush on the ginger...Canelo was standing in front of Cintron all night...If Cintron would've let the bombs fly from the get go he might've put Alvarez on ***** street considering that kermit had him stunned when he finally decided to open up.

Suer, if technically sound includes no head movement, none.
