People who don't know, don't know that they don't know. Canelo is being spoon fed, led by the apron string, and being kept in the dark about what's out there waiting for him. One loss, and he'll be the stepping stone, the easy payday for his betters, the guys he's being sheltered from. He beat Cintron, the older, slower, used up version of Kermit, and now he wants Floyd. He couldn't find Floyd in a phone booth, but he doesn't know.

Canelo has a better skill set that Kirland, but Kirk hits harder with one punch. Canelo has a better three punch combo, finishing off with that chopping right hand. Kirland has a better five or six combo, but loses power when throwing combos. His power is in the one punch bomb. Canelo would be patient and would catch Kirk between combos. It's frustrating that fighters nowadays expect to be spoon fed big fights. Nothing about his performance against Cintron warrants a fight with Mayweather.

He wouldn't get clowned for 5 rounds, he get stopped in rounds 8-10 as his conditioning is awful.

Canelo needs to fight Trout who owns his family ***els. You would think he would want revenge for his brother but Trout's style is too difficult for him. Mayweather gains more glory with a middleweight title and a one-sided decision over the easy-to-hit Sergio Martinez.

Canelo's lack of any defence and his bad conditioning will catch up to him at some point. He was breathing out of his mouth WAY too early in the fight. He and Chavez need to fight to create a genuine star.....not just something with a famous dad and someone with red hair. This fight would have happened if not for the worst era of promoters ever.
