gbp made this fight to make canelo look good, they ain't fooling anybody - cintron looked like garbage in his last 2 fights.
ideally canelo should be fighting pwill today, and not cintron.

Paul Williams looked worse than Cintron in their most recent fights. Canelo should be fighting Chavez Jr. The Canelo and Chavez Jr express trains will be derailed badly eventually unless a promotional miracle keeps happening, so might as well make it look good against each other for good money. If Cintron turns back the clock, as he did with moving up in weight, the Canelo Express could be derailed soon... but right now he looks like ****. Canelo may get another gift stoppage if Cintron isn't relatively sharp as well.

Cintron is on his way out. I'm figuring. If this dude had the determination inside of him to be a top fighter then he would have done it a long time ago. Homie is just not focused.

Cintron should be a good test for Canelo after that he needs to fight the guys at 154 which is the hottest division right now so no more tune ups for canelo the same with Chavez Jr.

Canelo will get hit, and I think his chin won't like it. He looks fairly weak in terms of power, and maybe has a brute strength thing, but not world level power. Honestly, I saw Canelo look very flawed VS Gomez and he will get hit, and let's see if he can take it. I haven't seen Cintron recently though.

I would be equally concerned if I was Canelo's promoter fighting a Cintron of 2007
, but this is a Cintron of 2011, shot to pieces and I would be really, really surprised if he take the fight to Canelo and do some damage. I would really hope Cintron can pull it off but let's see what he can do..4 1/2 hrs left...

Hoya is worried that Cintron has one good fight left in him because his back is up against the wall and he knows that this is his last chance...... that is a genuine concern.

I wanna see if Canelo can beat Cintron if he does have that one fight left in him.

I would love to see Cintron take him deep and then Canelo come through it.

That is what he needs right now.

Every now and then, and not just with the greats, a guy can decide to not just turn up and be an opponent. Not saying that will happen, they picked Cintron for a reason, just that it could happen..... and Cintron is capable, or at least the best version of him is/was.
