Oh man, if Broner ever makes it to the Top level there is already a Hate train waiting for him
I have to agree with that.
If you're gonna have that personality, at least be funny.
But anyway, he fought a good fight. His opponent came to fight as a lot of Argentians do. If it was up to me, I wouldn't focus on anyone's personality, but more on the performance.
But we are human of course. But Broner does have haters waiting.
I think we were just too harsh on him against De Leon who is a crafty veteran fighter.
Now, he is stepping up his competition since he has a belt just like Canelo or Chavez Jr. Let us just enjoy that we have capable American boxing champions within the sport.
I know I'm sounding like a shill right now but we have to give credit where credit is due.
I also like Gary Russell Jr. I think he has the potential to connect to people who likes their champions with a gracious attitude. Still, I like Broner too. I can handle his swag.
Note: The only reason I don't like Mayweather is because he turned the rivalry between him and Pacquiao bordering into racism. Broner should stay out of it too. Don't fall like Roy Jones Jr. saying "no white guy can knock me out."
i agree - like i was saying i enjoy light-hearted guys with humor and a little ****iness. . . mayweather was like that until he got all defensive and started spazzing out on everybody. . .
and russell has more of the stoic, humble attitude. . .
