Russell is more puncher than boxer straight forawrd little head, upperbody movement high workrate there to be hit, Granted the opponent wasn't much but still.

Russell v Juanma or Gamboa would be fireworks for as long as it goes.

This is the most logical step-up fight to compare against relative comp.

It's all about which Kermit are we getting?

Do not be fooled by his last two fights, where he didn't even know who he was fighting even as training camp had already started.

I do not like Kermit nor do I support him. I don't like his lack of fire and passion and his pathetic ways that have become patterns through his career. However, I do think he might just be that stumble in Canelo's path.

Here are the reasons why I think Kermit might just pull it off:

                      - His experience and being there and already experienced both sides of the coin will be a big factor against a green guy like Canelo - despite of how talented he might be.

                      - Cintron can take the punches. Do not forget, this guy stood there with Sergio and gave him one of the best fights anyone has given him in his recent run. He also held his own against PWill un. Point, he has been there with what I believe is tougher competition and bigger guys (physically and experience wise).

                      - Cintron has the power and speed. He has given guys like Margarito, Martinez and PWill problems and has landed shots that hit solid with each.

                      - Cintron has all the tools required , now will he put them to use effectively? I truly believe so.

This veteran might have no dignity left, might be randomly mentally weak - might, might not. You just don't know the Cintron you're going to get.

If Cintron comes in a 100%, I expect him to win tonight. Might go as a far as saying he might knock Canelo out.

Canelo is a good prospect, I do not think he is a big a hypejob or nowhere near as Chavez is. He is one of the most talented and skilled fighters out there today, in my opinion. But don't expect him to walk thru Cintron either.
Good read ... but no matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to get Cintron's leaping ring jump out of my mind.
