I don't agree with this.

It's not that these guys get stronger as the fight goes on. Their opponent just starts to wilt. Cotto needs to just not waste so much energy and clinch a little bit so he'll be fresher in the championship rounds.

He's much more skilled than Marg still and should be able to outbox the guy if he can make some small adjustments.

You are actually suggesting clinching? You Ricans are pathetic cowards. Isn't Cotto saying that Margo used plaster in their third fight? Isn't Cotto in his hometown basically? So why on earth would Cotto clinch like a coward? Ricans clinch too much, they are the only Latinos that hug so much.

I agree, Cotto must be on the offense and pound the **** out of that slob’s body then the head or more appropriately, the eye will follow. Margoputa is training in altura for the purpose of lasting into the later rounds in the hopes of a late round knockout, which won’t happen. Fortunately this time around Cotto will only have to withstand punches from boxing gloves only. He is going to put on a clinic of what boxing is and he will brawl in the spots that warrant it. He will school this one dimensional waste of a human being!

Cotto has always been a slow starter and this has gotten worse as his skills have deteriortaed over the past few years -- he's going to lose to Margarito no matter what he tries to do -- couldn't hurt him when he was 4 years younger and much more in his prime -- faded badly then and was a sitting duck for anything that Margarito threw at him -- Cotto has been carefully matched with non-punchers and has-beens for several years now, for a good reason, ever since Clotty went into the tank in the last 5 rounds to give Cotto a gift win --even without the 'hands of concrete,' Margarito simply is the better fighter at this point, with much more left....
